At the heart of two wonderful villages can be found two unique village pubs, The Bells Inn in Almeley and The Royal George in Lyonshall.

We are currently renovating The Royal George, which you can read about here - we can’t wait to open and share it with you.

Local Pubs

The Royal George, Lyonshall

A village hub in the making, the Royal George is a Grade II listed 17th century pub, being lovingly restored by Kinsey Hern.
It will retain its traditional character but with the highest contemporary facilities and services to make it a viable and indispensable part of Lyonshall life.

The pub will provide a close to hand local service, within a warm, welcoming environment, helping to create a vibrant community area. With a relaxed and informal space, supporting local team nights and pub quizzes, through to live bands and foodie fun. Traditional pub food, as well as new twists and flavours, takeaways and film food packages too.

Alongside the pub and restaurant, amazing plans also include a café, soft play, cinema and farm shop.

The Bells Inn, Almeley

A cosy, traditional village pub, The Bells Inn is a great place to relax for locals and visitors alike, they also host regular events. Boasting a delicious selection of pub-grub dishes homemade using fresh, local produce, as well as some of Herefordshire’s finest beers and ales.
